BAES' Hearts Day Banquet

BAES' Hearts Day Banquet

HEARTS DAY

The day of hearts as they call it, but for the pupils of Baesa Adventist Elementary School specifically the Grade 6 pupils under Ma’am Gemma Cayaban not only the day of hearts but also the time for good food prepared by them that will be served to the faculty, staff of BAES and of course for themselves.

It is one of Ma’am Gemma’s activities for her pupils like the previews grade 6 pupils that went under her tutelage. It is certainly one of the most awaited events of the year by Grade 6 Chalcedony.

They have brought their utensils, ingredients and their pure excitement of the said event. The Grade 6 pupils really putting their maximum effort to make this event successful so that this beautiful event will burn into their memories as one of the things they did at BAES.

Here are some photos while their cooking their dishes.

You can see that they are having fun while cooking!

The tables they prepared are quite elegant (although someand they also wear their beautiful dresses and suits (as they call it) for this wonderful event. Music made their afternoon more quite lovely as it should be, the pupils prepared romantic songs that build up the ambiance and atmosphere, not to mention the beautiful decoration they prepared yesterday.

Photos of some of their table settings.

One part of their program is gift giving for their partners as per group of four; each group has two boys and two girls (except Bruce's, he got 3 girls in his group. Nice!). They have to exchange gifts that they brought mostly flowers and chocolates. The pupils also prepared some gifts for each teacher thanking them for guidance and support for their endeavor as they strive for greatness in the future.

It’s a very wonderful afternoon for both pupils and teachers & staffs of Baesa Adventist Elementary School; we’ve enjoyed the delicious good food served by the pupils and commended them for having a good job.

And lastly before the event comes to an end, they presented a VERY (seriously, very short) short video made by their former classmate Shayne who is now at the States containing photos of the time when she was still here, it’s a shame that she didn’t get to experience this wonderful event.

The program was put to end with a closing prayer from Ma’am Gemma Cayaban.
