ADMISSIONS POLICY FOR ELEMENTARY SCHOOL
A. GENERAL POLICY

1. All applicants to Baesa Adventist Elementary School (BAES) are required to undergo the admission screening process under this Admission Policy. The screening process provides the school with information to determine acceptance or non-acceptance of an applicant.

2. Parents will be informed about the result of the screening process. However, the details of the results will remain confidential.
​
3. The applicant is given the assessment test.
​
4. All applicants should have passing grades in all subjects from previous grade level.
​
B. GENERAL NORMS
​
1. Willingness of the parent or guardian of the applicant to collaborate actively with the school in the education and formation of the student, including the parent's/guardian's acceptance of the school policies, especially those found in the student handbook;
​
2. Willingness of the applicant and his/her parent/guardian to be involved in important school activities;
​
3. Reported behavior of the applicant or his/her parent or guardian inside or outside the school premises, or in the community that may be considered as potentially disruptive to the school operation, and/or inimical to the interest, safety, and well-being of the school, its faculty and staff, or its students, is sufficient ground for DISAPPROVAL of the application for admission;
​
4.An applicant who has been under any major disciplinary status or involved in any major disciplinary case within the last school year will NOT BE ACCEPTED;
​
5. Extent to which the applicant's family environment is open to, and supportive of the Adventist Christian values espoused by the school.
​
6. BAES is no recognized by DepEd to offer special education; hence; students requiring Special Education will not be admitted.
